Instructor Mike Blute has walked-the-walk in law enforcement and continues to give back to departments across the country.

He keeps adult learners engaged through real-world case studies and (mostly appropriate) story telling. Mike is dedicated to supporting others in training, while also committed to his own personal growth. Currently, he is a Master Instructor Trainer in Georgia, a Registered Phlebotomy Technician, and is working to complete his Master’s Degree.

Faith Goodrich understands what it takes to manage perceptions and enhance goodwill with a community who doesn’t always trust officers. She developed in-house courses for the leaders of her police department - training them all to be expert communicators.

All combined she has spent 26 years serving in public safety, first as a Paramedic, then as a SWAT Medic, now as a Police Sergeant. She has experience developing policies, guidelines, and mentorship opportunities for the teams she manages.

Hazlett has built on his perspective in the military and in law enforcement for more than 20 years. He is currently serving the San Luis Valley of Colorado as a team supervisor. His areas of passion and expertise are in all facets of impaired driving prevention, education, apprehension and prosecution.

Matthew Novak is a retired police sergeant of 30-years. He’s got gritty and real stories from the road, from his time doing undercover work, and lessons-learned as a supervisor and mentor.
Novak specializes in Constitutional Policing instruction and Leadership Through Crisis as he helped his department navigate policing under a consent decree.
